Huge congratulations to fit20 member Jack Aynsley (pictured here on the right, with fit20 Personal Trainer Stephen on the left). Since starting with fit20 Jack has been a huge inspiration - showing up consistently and giving 100% to his training.
Was it worth it? We’ll let Jack share more about his journey to better health and fitness….
What did you want to achieve?
Before starting fit20, I was the heaviest I had been for a very long time and was finding it very difficult to shift it because of work & family commitments.
My goal was to drop down 1 or 2 waist sizes for my wedding and I had 6 months to do it! I joined fit20 off the back of a referral and never looked back.
What made you interested in trying the fit20 training?
I had tried every method of exercise going! Before meeting my wife and having a baby I would train in the local gym 5 days a week. I find it very difficult now to find the time and to motivate myself to commit to exercising every night for long periods of time. It was the (little) time involved with fit20 which was the original appeal, and thought I should give it a go and see what results I could gain.
What do you like most about the fit20 style of training?
The environment is fantastic... it’s 121 and very personal... you really do feel that there is a good level of care and attention involved to help you achieve your goals.
There is no room for error or cheating when it comes to form... the guys are there to ensure that you do everything correctly and receive the best results possible.
What results have you achieved since starting that you're most proud of?
I'm not one to weigh myself... I tend to monitor my achievements on how I feel in myself! None of my clothes fit me now! A new wardrobe is currently being purchased... shirts I couldn’t button up a year ago, are too baggy now! I am on the verge of dropping my second waist size and my self confidence is back.
What would you say to anyone who's not sure if fit20 can work for them?
I would 100% advise anybody to try fit20...because I have achieved the most amazing results whilst been able to spend as much quality time as I want with my young family at the same time.
